A heh a heh a heh a heh

This was the trademark laugh of John F. Sheehy when relaxed and recumbent on the couch with wingtips removed and a tareyton burning in his pin setter's fingers. This small set of sounds might express amusement at a story without great emotion attached. When he laughed hard and was tickled it was more of a wheezing horse-laugh that came from the diaphram. These four sounds came from the back of the throat and required very little effort. More of a "whatya think of this guy?" kind of an expression. However, Greg picked it up and used it himself to show his slight reaction to a mildly funny happening that might not elicit hard laughs. Like the difference between yep and OH YEAH! It wasn't hard to make the old man laugh because he was just waiting for an excuse to express his joy at having a couch to lie on and an audience of young fellas hanging on his every  word.
